Kate was wonderful to work with! She was so flexible, despite us being a little late to the session. We have 2 young girls (a 2 year old and 6 month old), and her previous childcare experience really came in handy to help our 2 year old open up. She captured both candids and posed photos quickly as it was a little chilly during our session! We strongly recommend her!

Kate was wonderful to work with for our fall family photos! She was patient, kind and fun with us and our 2 kiddos (5 and 7 at the time). We had a couple spots we took pictures, Kate captured the beauty of our kids being the crazy kiddos they are. I use my background working with children along with my passion for photography to make every session fun for the whole family! I love getting to know each individual and capturing their spirt and personality on film. My style is a mix of posed and candid and I’m always prepared to go with the flow!

FAQs

  • I am happy to recommend a location or come to you! Currently I am offering sessions in CT and NYC. Some of my favorite CT locations are Newtown Ram’s Pasture, Castle Hill, Holcombe Hill, and Sherwood Island in Westport, CT.

  • This is completely up to you and depends on what you are looking to capture! You can dress up or down, but make sure your kiddos are comfortable! If it’s cold out feel free to bundle up and wear layers-coats can always come off right before the photos and make for cozy photos as well!

  • I love working with you to create a session that is truly unique and memorable! Some examples could be a summer s’mores fire pit session, hot chocolate marshmallow moments in freshly fallen snow, or a family picnic in the spring! Do you have a favorite activity to do together? Why not capture it in a photo session!

  • Feel free to bring any props (signs, blanket, etc)! I encourage kids to bring a favorite toy, stuffed animal, or book-can make for great personal photographs and fun for all. Also don’t forget to pack lots of snacks and water!

  • Within 2 weeks. I aim to get your photo package to you within 7 days, but please allow for up to 14 days. I will share your photos via a Lightroom album.
